Aglio Olio (China Square)

Dinner set for two was extremely value for money at $39.90++. Food quality and taste were acceptable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Second time here. Tried the chicken olio with set meal, taste was decent but nothing special. Also, the portion was quite small for its price. The service staff were very friendly and attentive.

One of the best Pasta you can get in Singapore. Every bite has blessed taste in. They have variety of pasta both Veg and Non Veg. Even if you want to customise it they are more than happy to ensure its done. No Garlic, No Mushrooms - Yes it can be done. Once been there and I have become a regular goer even if I am alone for lunch. The taste in their pasta is amazing. The staff is extremely polite, always wear a big smile and are quick. The quantity is decent and you can always up size if required. Dessert - Brownie with Vanilla ice cream is extremely soft and melts in mouth. Must Must Try place!! :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tried Aglio Olio @ China Square for dinner and went with their Dinner Special – 2 pastas, basket of chicken wings, garlic bread, 2 soups, and lemonade. Portions are generous, flavours are solid, and the wings + garlic bread combo hit the spot! The pastas are nicely done – not too heavy, and you can tell they don’t skimp on ingredients. We even “dabao-ed” Salmon Pesto and Duck Cream Pasta home, which were just as tasty. Great service and tidy & neat environment. Pasta though slightly over salty, was affordable and had good variable spiciness level to choose from. Be warn though that the highest level of spice selection, truly is spicy, as informed by the staff on duty.

Don't sleep on this place, it's an undiscovered gem for quality veg pasta options. Be sure to try the Aglio Olio, Cream Sauce and Pink Sauce bases in both veg and chicken. The portions are healthy and the food tastes great. For non-veg diners, there are great couple's combos even for dinner. The staff are always amazing and incredibly hospitable. Be sure to try this out for your next weekday dinner when you want to try something out of the blue!

I found out about this place through Reddit in a thread about aglio olio, and we decided to have lunch here with a former intern. I got the aglio olio with seafood and chose the spiciest option. The staff repeatedly cautioned that they used chilli padi but I was confident in my tolerance level. We also got onion rings and fries to share. The aglio olio was not bad and I was glad that I could sweat from the chilli padi. This is a feeling that I could experience easily nowadays. I don't really eat that much pasta but I would say this place is worth a visit?
